A bounty of food, fun, and music each year at Feast Street in Downtown Welland.
I'm not sure where you were on September 22nd and 23rd, but I was at Feast Street in downtown Welland. What a party!
Being relatively new to sponsoring events, Feast Street was my first adventure of this sort. I met so many people and had one heck of a weekend enjoying the food, the people, the music, adult bevy's -- and did I mention all that food... I enjoyed every minute of being the main stage sponsor for the event.
The planning for the event was even a little overwhelming, so many things to do and I was just a sponsor. I can only imagine what the Downtown Welland BIA (event organizer) was going through. Signs, promotional blurbs, ads, logos, all these things to be supplied - oh and creating my jeep as a selfie-frame was fun too! If you haven't figured it out yet, I love my jeep! Watch for it around town - it's hard to miss - big, did I mention giant tires, all white, 2 door!
Back to the event -- there were food trucks everywhere with each serving up $3 samples, a beer tent, 2 stages with bands playing all weekend long. I had the pleasure of introducing those playing on the main stage. Wow was I nervous at first, but I had a ton of fun.
I can't wait for next year...
Enjoy the photos:
Thank you to Anthony Gallaccio for the two photos of Robbin Corry on stage with the bands.
